The Willows Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) is a registered charity, set up to raise funds for the school.  Our registered charity number is 1011135.  As well as our elected committee, we also have a great group of volunteers, both parents and staff, who help to organise our fundraising events across the year. We plan a calendar of exciting events, for pupils and parents alike, throughout the year to help raise money for the school.  The money we raise pays for learning enrichment experiences such as the Life Education Bus, and trips such as the Christmas pantomime.  In addition to these ongoing commitments, we also fundraise each year towards a specific target. We purchased 2 of the fantastic Smartboards for classrooms in the new building. Our next goal is raising money to purchase new play equipment for the school playground.  In the past, we have raised the funds to buy a new school minibus. As with any PTFA, we are only as strong as our volunteers, and we are always looking for people who are keen to help.  We meet at 7pm on the second Thursday of each month at The Plough on the Green.  Our meetings are friendly and relaxed, and everyone is welcome.
